Hotel De La Poste Mortain-Bocage, Mortain-Bocage

I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The rooms, although a little tired looking, were comfortable, especially considering the very reasonable room rate. The terrace offered a stunning view across the entire valley. The service was top-notch with very helpful and friendly staff, particularly the owner. The location was convenient, right in town close to many stores, services, and the tourism office, although some noise and light from street lights were noticeable. The dining experience was decent throughout the day, and the facilities were satisfactory.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms had lovely views from the balcony overlooking the valley, which was fantastic. However, the room was a bit outdated and in need of some renovation. The service by the owner was lovely, but some staff members came off as rude, impacting the overall experience. The location was convenient, close to town and various services, but the check-in process was a bit disorganized and could be improved. The dining options were limited and resembled those of a low-cost hotel, lacking variety. On a positive note, the facilities were satisfactory, but they lacked the modern touch expected from a hotel of this caliber.
